He was one amongst the 30 Indian Scientists to be nominated for the Indo-German Young Scientist Award which was jointly organized by the DOST, India and the Alexander Von Humboldt Foundation, Germany in the year 2010.
CEPL is the first company to launch a dedicated gas generator running on natural gas, biogas, and syngas fuel of small capacities in India. CEPL is on the official vendor list of Gujarat Gas Ltd. (Ex-British Gas) and Gas Authority of India Ltd. (GAIL India). CEPL also provides technical support & engineering solutions for bio-methanation plants, bio-CNG, and power plant applications.
Dr. Rajesh Iyer has also developed the technology for the world’s most Fuel Efficient Dedicated CNG Bike having a mileage of 120 km/kg of gas, the product patent has been applied in year 2010.
